Supervisor and Built-in browser


Launch supervisor

To launch the supervisor, select the Tools | supervisor command from the main menu, or press Ctrl+Alt+M. The supervisor window has the main menu and the working pages. To hide the supervisor window, select command File | Exit or press Esc.

Active Links

Active Links are the links opened in browsers. You can do the following with the open links: Add one link to the bookmark collection. To do that select command Action | Add Link to collection from collection menu of supervisor window, or left-click on the bookmark manager add button of the tool bar, or double left-click on the selected link, and then, launch collection properties on the dialog box. The link located on input focus of the supervisor window will be added to selected collection Add several links to the bookmark collection. To do that, left-click on the check boxes of selected link, and then press key Add checked on the Target panel, located in the lower right side of supervisor window. Selected links will be added to the collection. The properties of these collections are displayed on the right side of the Target panel Add one link on default. To perform that, press key Add of the Target panel, located on the lower right side of the Target panel. The link will be added to the bookmark collection, and properties of this collection will be indicated in the left part of the Target panel. If necessary, the default collection can be changed by entering the new properties on the Target panel. The link located on input focus of the supervisor window will be added to the selected collection Add all links on default. To perform that, press key Add all on the Target panel, located on the lower right side of the supervisor window. The Link will be added to bookmark collection. The properties of these collections are displayed on the left side of Target panel Add link to the Favorites collection. To add a link to the Favorites collection, select command Action | Add Link to Favorites from the menu on the supervisor window or left-click on the buttonbookmark manager add favorites Copy the link address on the clipboard. To copy the link address on the clipboard, select the Action | Copy link address command from the menu of supervisor window or left-click on button bookmark manager copy address in the tool bar To bring up the window of the browser that opened the link. To display window, select the Action | Bring Application to front command from the supervisor menu window of left-click on button bookmark manager brinf to front of the tool bar

Clipboard History

Clipboard History is a list of links and link addresses that are kept in the Clipboard. Using the Clipboard History list, you can perform the following operations: Add one link to the bookmark collection. To add link, select the Action | Add Link to collection command from the menu of the supervisor window or left-click on the button in the tool bar, or double left-click on the selected link. Then, enter collection properties into the dialog box. The link located on input focus of the supervisor window will be added to the selected collection Add several links to bookmark collection on default. To add links, left-click on the check boxes of the selected links, and then press the Add checked of Target panel located in the lower right side of the supervisor window. Selected links will be added to the collection. The properties of this collection are displayed on the left side of the Target panel. To copy links, select the Action | Copy link address command from the menu of supervisor window or left-click on the button in the tool bar Open link using installed and built-in browsers. To open link, select command Action | Open from the menu of supervisor window or left-click on button of the tool bar. Clicking on the left side of the button will open link on-default with browser. Clicking on the right side of the button will open a dropdown menu of browsers Delete link from the Clipboard History list. To delete link, select the Action | Delete command from the menu of supervisor window, or left-click on the button in the tool bar Clean Clipboard History list. To clean history, select the Action | Clear List command from the menu of the supervisor window, of left-click on the button in the tool bar

History

History is a list of links opened on your computer using the Internet Explorer, Link Commander or other browsers while the Link Commander is running. Using the History list, you can perform the following operations: Add a link to the bookmark collection. To add link, select the Action | Add Link to collection command from the menu of the supervisor window or left-click on the button in the tool bar, or double left-click on the selected link, or right-click on the selected link and select Add Link to collection in popup menu. Then, enter collection properties into the dialog box. The link located on input focus of the supervisor window will be added to the selected collection Add link to the Favorites collection. To add links, select the Action | Add link address to Favorites command from the menu of the supervisor window or left-click on the button Copy link address to the clipboard. To copy links, select the Action | Copy link address command from the menu of supervisor window or left-click on the button in the tool bar Open link using installed and built-in browsers. To open link, select command Action | Open from the menu of supervisor window or left-click on button of the tool bar. Clicking on the left side of the button will open link on-default with browser. Clicking on the right side of the button will open a dropdown menu of browsers Delete link from the History list. To delete link, select the Action | Delete command from the menu of supervisor window, or left-click on the button in the tool bar Clean Clipboard History list. To clean history, select the Action | Clear List command from the menu of the supervisor window, of left-click on the button in the tool bar

Applications

The list, properties, and locations of currently activated applications on the screen are displayed on the Applications page of the supervisor window. You can perform the following operations on this page: Display window of selected application to the front. To display, select the Action | Bring to front command from the menu of supervisor window or left-click on the button in the tool bar Move window of the selected application from the front. To move window, select the Action | Bring to back command from the menu of supervisor window or left-click on the button in the tool bar Capture window of the selected application to the front. To capture window, select the Action | Stay on top command from the menu of supervisor window or left-click on the button in the tool bar Minimize, maximize, restore, and close application window. Select the Action | Minimize, Action | Maximize, Action | Restore, or Action | Close commands from the menu of the supervisor window or left-click on the, , , buttons in the tool bar Filter the list of activated links and display all applications or browsers only. Filter Turn on/Turn off commands can be performed by Show browsers only checkbox on the lower side of the supervisor window Toggle the size and position of the selected application window. On the right part of Application window, the desktop model is displayed for this purpose, where the window model of the selected application is displayed in proportion. Using this window model application, one can perform the same operation as with the application window itself: change sizes and relocate it within the desktop. What is done on the model will respectively take place on the desktop and visa versa

The mode of operation with properties of the selected application has two settings. When Change size/position on fly mode is on, the change of parameters of window model leads to simultaneous changes of link's window.

When Change size/position on fly mode is off, the change of parameters of the link's window can be done after completion of changing of window's model parameters.

Turning on the Lock Desktop boundaries option blocks the ability to relocate the model window and window of applications from the boundaries of the desk top.

Browsers

The list of browsers installed on your computer is displayed on the Browser page of supervisor window. On this page you can perform the following operations: Activate browsers to the operating position. To activate, select the Action | Launch command from the menu of the supervisor window or left-click on the button, or double left-click the selected link, or right-click to activate context menu Set up selected browser by on-default browser. To set up, select command Action | Default browser or right-click to display context menu, or place an indicator Default browser on the right side of page Set up the selected browser by HTML-page viewer on-default. To do this, select the Action | Default HTML-viewer command or right-click to activate the context menu, or place an indicator Default HTML-viewer on the right side of the page Place a shortcut on the desktop. To place shortcut, place an indicator Shortcut on the desktop on the right side of the page Place a shortcut on the quick launch key. To do this, place an indicator Shortcut on Quick Launch bar on the right side of the page Open a home page of the browser designers. To open a home page, select the Action | Developer home page command or left-click on the button in the tool bar, or right-click to activate the context menu

Context menu

The commands used for performing selected pages of the Supervisor window are grouped in the context menu. To activate the context menu, right-click on the selected element.

Built-in browser


To activate the build-in browser, press Ctrl+B or click on the button located on the title bar of the collection panel. Then select the command Built-in browser on the popup menu.
