Limitations of the trial version

Link Commander is "Shareware". This means that we have made the software available to you for free evaluation. You are entitled to evaluate the software for up to 30 days without obligation to pay. After 30 days the save and export functions will get disabled, if you decide to keep the software and reenable save and export, you must register your copy.

Shareware (non-registered) Link Commander is a "full-featured" release. This means that the same capabilities available in the registered software are present in the non-registered software. This allows you to try out all the features in Link Commander to confirm that they work to your satisfaction.

How to Register?

To register your copy of Link Commander now, please use this link or visit the Purchase section of our web site at www.resortlabs.com. After purchasing you will receive a registration key via email.

We accept credit card orders, orders by phone and fax, checks, purchase orders, and wire transfers. Prices, terms, and conditions are subject to change without notice: please check our web site for the latest product offerings and prices or contact Link Commander support team via e-mail at support@resortlabs.com.

One licensed copy of Link Commander may be used by a single person who uses the software personally on one or more computers, or it may be installed on a single workstation used non-simultaneously by more than one person, but not both.

Note: If you are a user at a location where there is a valid site license, you do not need to register. Contact your organisation's e-mail administrator for support.

After Registration When you receive your registration information (license number) you must enter it into the program. To enter your registration information, please perform the following steps: Run Link Commander. Choose Menu Help, option Registration. The Registration dialog will open. Switch to your email client and find the email with the registration information. Select the registration key from this email and copy this selection to the clipboard. Switch to Link Commander and press the Paste from clipboard button. Press the Register button. Finally, to complete the process of registration, restart the Link Commander.
After that you will find your name next to the This program licensed to: title in the About box. If registered correctly, all restrictions are automatically removed from your version. You are now the lawful owner of the program.

If you need to re-install Link Commander, just repeat this procedure and activate your registration key again.

Note: Be sure to save your registration information in a safe place. You will need it again if you reinstall Windows. Better safe than sorry.

Note: Don't give your registration information to others.

What to do in case of a change in personal information

If you are a registered user of Link Commander and have recently changed your email address, please send an email to our technical support department at support@resortlabs.com with the following information: The original address presented during program registration Your new email address Your contact person Name for registration Company Country Zip Code State/Region City Address Telephone number (with area code) Fax number

What to do in case of losing the registration key

If you are a registered user of Link Commander, and for whatever reason your registration code stopped working or was lost, please email our technical support department at support@resortlabs.com together with the details of your registration. You will receive your registration code by email completely free as soon as we verify your registration information.

Important The email must be sent from the same email address that was indicated during program registration. The key will be emailed to that same address.

License Agreement

The Link Commander is distributed as try-before-you-buy. This means:

1. All copyrights to Link Commander are exclusively owned by the author - Resort Labs.

2. Anyone may use this software during a test period of 30 days. Following this test period of 30 days or less, if you wish to continue to use Link Commander, you MUST register.

3. Once registered, the user is granted a non-exclusive license to use Link Commander on one computer (i.e. a single cpu), for any legal purpose, at a time. The registered Link Commander software may not be rented or leased, but may be permanently transferred, if the person receiving it agrees to terms of this license. If the software is an update, the transfer must include the update and all previous versions.

4. The Link Commander unregistered trial version, may be freely distributed, with exceptions noted below, provided the distribution package is not modified. No person or company may charge a fee for the distribution of Link Commander without written permission from the copyright holder. The Link Commander unregistered trial version may not be bundled or distributed with any other package without written permission of the copyright holder.

6. Link Commander IS DISTRIBUTED "AS IS". NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND IS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. YOU USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE AUTHOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR DATA LOSS, DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS OR ANY OTHER KIND OF LOSS WHILE USING OR MISUSING THIS SOFTWARE.

7. You may not use, copy, emulate, clone, rent, lease, sell, modify, decompile, disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer, or transfer the licensed program, or any subset of the licensed program, except as provided for in this agreement. Any such unauthorized use shall result in immediate and automatic termination of this license and may result in criminal and/or civil prosecution.

8. Installing and using Link Commander signifies acceptance of these terms and conditions of the license.

9. If you do not agree with the terms of this license you must remove Link Commander files from your storage devices and cease to use the product.
