How to work with drop trap


To show/hide drop trap:

Select the Tools | drop trap command of the main menu Press Ctrl+Alt+T while Link Commander is active Right-click on drop trap and select drop trap command in the popup menu Press hot key determined in the settings of user's interface

Change size of drop trap

The sign of the drop trap can be selected from the following sizes: Smallest Small Large Largest To change drop trap size, select the Tools | Settings command of the main menu or press F11, and then, on the left panel of opened dialog box Settings, choose User interface. Then, on the right panel, from dropdown list of combobox drop trap/Size choose the correct size.

Change transparency of drop trap

The setting of drop trap "transparency" parameter is available only in Windows 2000/XP and can be turned on or off. To change "transparency" parameter, select the Tools | Settings command of the main menu or press F11, and then, on the left panel of the opened dialog box Settings, choose group of settings User interface. Then, on the right panel, set up (or cancel) drop trap/Transparency .

Show / hide main application window

To show/hide main application window you can use the following operations: Double left-click on drop trap Right-click on drop trap and select the Restore/Minimize command in the popup menu

Show / hide supervisor

To show/hide supervisor right-click on drop trap and select the supervisor command in popup menu.

Note: supervisor is currently available in Standard Edition only.

Launch Browsers

To launch Browsers, right-click on drop trap, select the Launch Browsers command in the popup menu and select browser in the popup submenu.

Add links from applications

To add links to collection, "drag" link from the application to the drop trap. The link will be added to collection, that was chosen earlier from the one of the Link Commander panel.

Add open links from browsers

To add links from browsers: Right-click on drop trap and select the Add link to collection command in popup menu Select the link in popup submenu

To open quickly bookmarks from collections

To open bookmarks from bookmark collection quickly, right-click on drop trap, select the collection name in the popup menu and select the bookmark in popup submenu.

To open quickly favorite bookmarks

To open favorite bookmarks quickly, right-click on drop trap, select the Favorite command in the popup menu and select favorite bookmark in the popup submenu.
