Tool bar of Link Commander consists of four parts, matching menu items of the main application window:
File bar
Action bar
Tool bar
Favorites bar
You can manage appearance of the tool bar by showing or hiding different parts.
To turn the mode of displaying tool bars on/off you can use commands View | Show tool bar from the main menu, or press Shift+Ctrl+T.
To turn the mode of displaying status bars on/off you can use commands View | Show status bars from the main menu, or press Shift+Ctrl+S.
To turn the mode of displaying collection panel captions on/off you can use commands View | Show captions from the main menu or by pressing Shift+Ctrl+C.
Turning the mode Stay on top of the main application window on/off can be done by command View | Stay on top or left-click on button
on the Title bar of the main application window
To roll up or down the main application window, left-click respectively on buttons
and
on its title bar, or press combination of buttons that can be determined from the Tools | Settings main menu.
Shared use of options Stay on top and Roll up/down allow you, if necessary, quickly refer to Link Commander, without keeping the application window open on the display of your computer
To restore the size of main application window one can:
Right-click on Drop Trap of links or on the Link Commander icon in the system tray. Then select Restore from the displayed popup menu
Press combination of buttons that can be determined from the Tools | Settings main menu
Double left-click on the Drop Trap
Left-click on the Link Commander icon in the system tray
To minimize the size of the main application window, one can:
Right-click on the Drop Trap or on the Link Commander icon in the system tray . Then select the Minimize command within popup menu
Press combination of buttons that can be determined from the Tools | Settings main menu
Double left-click on the Drop Trap
To display the context of the collection panel in the form of a tree (as a "Tree view") press Ctrl+T, or left-click on the button
, located on the title bar of the collection panel. Then select the command Collection | Tree view on the popup menu.
To display the context of the collection panel in the form of a list (as a "List view") press Ctrl+L, or left-click on the button
, located on the title bar of the collection panel. Then select the command Collection | List view on the popup menu.
To exchange the locations of collection panels, do one of the following: Use the command View | Swap panels from the main menu Press the Ctrl+U Press and hold the left mouse button, and drag it through the title bar
To change horizontal panel size, drag the splitter between panels to the left/right. This operation can be done with the mouse - just place it on the splitter and press and hold the left mouse button.
To make horizontal size of the collection panels the same, left-click on the splitter in between panels.
